The original is good, and the third movie is dumb fun, but neither can compare to the sheer joyous experience that is Magic Mike XXL. It's simultaneously a celebration of non-toxic male friendship and of pure female joy (not just in that sense!). When I’m having a lousy day, turning on Magic Mike XXL is a reliable way to improve my mood.
