About the site
Stuff Jake Likes is the personal website of me, some guy named Jake. I've created it as a means of sharing information, opinions and analysis on topics of personal interest.
The immediate motivation to start it was specifically to help me share the text of certain public domain documents I've found regarding the early history of Canadian football, a particular interest of mine and one that is not well represented online.
I chose the name Stuff Jake Likes both to leave myself the freedom to explore a variety of subjects here, and to discourage myself from leaning into negativity. The latter is what social media is for.
